HPR 378 (6.2L) LSA Short block
Starting with GM's potent LSA engine block, we have designed this short block for those that want to push the envelope further with increased performance and reliability. ARP main studs are installed before checking main bearing housing sizes, then correctly machined. Piston bores are torque plate honed to size and to our exacting finish standards. We retain the factory forged, 8 bolt, crankshaft and hang forged H beam rods by K1 with our own forged Wiseco piston. Wrist pins are upgrade to tool steel S718 pieces for added strength. Approx compression ratio depending on head chamber size and gasket used is 9.1:1
Those wanting a build without the piston oil squirters can receive the same build using a new LS3 block for a lower cost (see options).
