TSP's all new line of LS3 camshafts are the result of our latest round of engine dyno camshaft development using our state-of-the-art Superflow 902 engine dyno. Using a brand new LS3 crate engine, we started from scratch to build the most powerful LS3 camshafts available in the country.
The Stage I 225/236 camshaft represents the smallest off the shelf camshafts currently available from TSP for the LS3-based engines.  This camshaft is designed to make more power than the stock camshaft , even in the lower RPM band!  This camshaft is a perfect option for customers wanting a very streetable setup that has a slight lope at idle.  It is the largest cam we would recommend for anyone running the factory torque converter in auto-equipped vehicles, and it is also an excellent choice for manual-equipped cars wanting maximium streetability!  We recommend this camshaft for LS3 or LS2 engines using L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads!

The Stage II  229/244 camshaft is a great mid-duration camshaft for power applications from 3000 RPM+.  This camshaft is an excellent choice for customers wanting more power than our 225/236 yet still wanting to retain nice streetability.  Automatic-equipped vehicles will require a minimum stall speed torque converter of 2,600 RPM. We recommend this camshaft for LS3 or LS2 engines using L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads!

The Stage III 231/246 camshaft is a great choice for customers wanting a more aggressive camshaft with excellent power gains.  This camshaft is an excellent choice for customers wanting more power than our 229/244 and wanting a bit more of top-end power.  We recommend a minimum stall speed of 3,200 RPM for this camshaft in auto-equipped vehicles. We recommend this camshaft for LS3 or LS2 engines using L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads!

The Stage IV 235/248 camshaft is the perfect choice for customers wanting the MOST powerful camshaft available that still offers adequate piston-to-valve clearance on a stock short-block.  This camshaft is designed for all-out power and shows gains over the stock camshaft beginning at 3,100 RPM.  The cam will pull really hard from 4,500 RPM up to the 6,600 RPM HP peak.  This camshaft makes 93 flywheel HP more than the factory LS3 camshaft!  We recommend a minimum stall speed of 3,600 RPM for this camshaft in auto-equipped vehicles for streetability, but it would benefit at the track from a 4,000+ RPM stall speed. This cam is designed for LS2/L76/LS3 engines using L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads!

**The factory LS3 camshaft uses a single-bolt cam design, which means one bolt holds the upper timing sprocket on the camshaft.  For LS3 vehicles, you can either go back in with a single-bolt camshaft or convert to the three-bolt camshaft design that the 1997-2006 LS-based vehicles use.   We also offer the conversion kit for those wanting a three bolt cam design, sold separately.**
