HorsePower Research BR285 LS7 Bare Cylinder heads

We are proud to announce our own line of LS7 based cylinder heads. These cylinder heads are based on the OE 12 degree LS7 cylinder head that has proven to be one of the most powerful OE heads for the LS platform. Using a solid casting from Brodix has allowed us to have a number of port designs as well as valve options for our new line of heads.
With either a 2.240 or 2.245 intake valve and 1.610 or 1.600 exhaust valve our 45 degree intake seats and 45 and 50 degree exhaust seats are machined for normal usage and long life.

Our medium large 285cc model for 427cid and larger, higher rpm engines that can be used on anything 4.125 or greater bore. With the 2.245 Ti intake valve and has great mid lift flow with as much as 365 cfm @ .500 lift, 400 cfm @ .600 and 425+ cfm at higher lifts.
Our BR285 model uses the regular Brodix BR7 casting which uses oem style LS7 rockers (up to .650 lift) or aftermarket LS7 replacement rockers (Jesel / TSP etc .750 lift).
We also do some cooling mods with these heads and sell matching head gaskets as well for those that want them. This is really useful in road racing or in power adder use to reduce temps around the exhaust valve and spark plug.
